Carpets of different qualities and yarns can be made to your own designs and colourways.
This service does cost an extra amount but the larger the quantity the less the premium.

 

 

Spectacular effects can be created in larger rooms and corridors by using borders and inset squares (see above).

 

There are many ranges of impervious carpets which are mainly used in the healthcare sector.  No fluids can penetrate the backing of these carpets making them easy to clean and remove ‘smells’. Nearly all are bleach/stain resistant.  This is a large market for Kimbers and we are regular suppliers to many healthcare groups. We hold stock of these products.

  

 

We carpet and floor many showhouses for developers and cover most of the southern counties.  Our stock twist pile ranges are widely used usually in neutral colours.  Many customers are also moving to Karndean or Amtico flooring for kitchens/bathrooms.   Not only are these hardwearing but allow almost any design option – borders, diagonals, woods, ceramic, metallic tile effects.

 

Health and Safety legislation now require most communal areas to have stairs fitted with stair nosings.  These are available in aluminium, gold or P.V.C. and a range of coloured non-slip inserts.  Open sided stairs can be fitted with metal or plastic trim. 

All types are available from Coir, Ribbed, Zig-Zag, Rubber, Plastic and Metal.

We stock three inexpensive carpet ranges available for heavy wear areas.

Sahara  is a polypropylene loop with felt backing
Contract Gel  is a loop with a pattern with felt backing

Metropolis  impervious backed, heavy contract use especially suitable for nursing / healthcare locations.
